Protection sub-group

Aims

To implement and renew when necessary Safer Bristol’s multi-agency strategy against domestic violence and abuse, by development, monitoring and review of an Action Plan;
To influence other partnerships’ strategies to include domestic violence and abuse;
To identify and secure partnership resources to deliver the strategy.

Objectives

To monitor and review Performance, Prevention, Provision of Services and Protection and Justice, in line with the objectives of the DVA Strategy;
To receive progress reports from sub-groups on Action Plan;
To amend Action Plan and Strategy as required;
To report to the Safer Bristol Executive through the Violent Crime Delivery Group.

The Strategy Group has a fixed membership of senior managers of particular agencies, detailed in the terms of reference.
